Reflect, Review and Recharge Retreat in the South West of France!
When is it?
Monday 6th – Sunday 12th June 2016
Imagine yourself, sitting on the terrace, or by the pool, with a chilled glass of wine in your hand, looking out on an acre of park like gardens, next to the river Cerou. You can hear the wind rustling in the poplar trees, the birds singing, and the frogs of course that have a tune all of their own too. There is an amazing 6 km walk by the river, up through the forest to the top of the valley and back down to the village again. The views from the top are amazing. The village of Salles is relaxed and peaceful, broken only by the church bells striking 3 times a day – you will feel all your stresses just melting away from the moment you arrive….
When was the last time you gave yourself permission to have some time out?
Time away from the demands of everyday life and time to focus on ‘you’?
Do you want something different in your life?
Are you ready to make some changes but are stuck with the ‘what’ and the ‘how’?
Do you just crave some you time and some freedom to get away and just be?
Then this 7 Day Reflect, Review and Recharge Retreat is especially for YOU.
Yes - that sounds perfect- I am Interested!

So, what will be happening? There will be a daily group session that will be interactive and fun. Together we will create a safe environment for you to make some personal discoveries and gain clarity about the 'what' the 'how' and perhaps even the 'when'. These mornings will help both your level of commitment and motivation to make the shift you want happen. There will also be meditation, and journaling each day. Plus, you’ll be discovering and breaking through some unwanted beliefs that hold you back from having the success you so richly deserve.
After lunch, you can have time for reflection, a stroll in the beautiful village, a dip in the swimming pool, read your book, walk along the river, or perhaps just sit in the garden listening to the birds feeling close to nature in this relaxing setting. Maybe you’d like to journal in this time or even begin writing your own book? What have you been really wanting to do and just not made time for yet? Could this be the perfect moment to begin?
On Wednesday and/or Saturday we can take a trip into nearby Medieval Cordes sur Ciel or Albi (this is optional and there will be additional travel expense).

Cordes sur Ciel fascinates all those who discover it because it is initially like a mirage: that of a city launching itself into the sky. It is a living piece of history and art, holding alive in its stones the memory of all those who have passed through it since its creation in 1222 by the Count of Toulouse.
Its exceptional site, its remarkable architectural heritage, make it one of the most significant medieval cities of France, and one of the key sites of European heritage. It has been classified in the Grands Sites Midi-Pyrénées! They say that the creation of the city was overseen by the stars, and that the site was chosen by destiny! By walking through the streets, and crossing the thresholds, one seems to journey through the centuries, leafing through a fabulous book of art! |
Albi - In 2010, the UNESCO World Heritage Committee recognised the outstanding universal value of the Episcopal City of Albi by inscribing it on the prestigious World Heritage List as a cultural property. More than 800 000 tourists visit the city every year.
The Episcopal City is structured around 2 real medieval fortresses: -The Saint-Cecile cathedral, the biggest brick cathedral in the world. -The Berbie Palace, former fortified town of the bishops. Nowadays : Toulouse-Lautrec museum, the painter's biggest public collection in the world. The omnipresence of bricks is illustrated by the cathedral and the Berbie Palace, biggest brick-built constructions in the world. The cathedral of Albi shows an exceptional model of Southern Gothic style given it the looks of a fortress. |
So where is Le Chateau De La Rivière? Take a look at the map of southern France below and the red dot is where Salles is in relation to the nearest airports of Rodez to the North East and Toulouse to the South West. This is not a hotel, but two homes that are rented out sometimes as Self Catering accommodation, but also to host retreats and courses. Adjacent to the two houses is La Grange, where Janine and her husband Tony live. –I’m sure you’ll love it!
